GoalSetting:
Ihavesettwogoalstoaccomplishduringmyfirstyearofuniversity.Firstly,IaimtoachieveaB2levelofEnglishproficiencyasclassifiedbytheCommonEuropeanFrameworkofReferenceforLanguage(CEFR).Secondly,IwanttoattendanEnglish-speakingcountrystudyprogramwithinthenextthreeyears.

AfterevaluatingmycurrentEnglishlevel,Ihavesetupastudyplanthatwillhelpmereachmygoals.
OvercomingChallenges:
Whilethelearningprocesscanbechallengingattimes,IbelievethatIcanovercomethesedifficultiesbyfocusingonafewstrategies:
- TimeManagement:IwillprioritizemyEnglishstudygoalsandmanagemytimenotonlytostudybutalsoengageinEnglishspeakingactivities;attendingschoolclubs,andparticipatinginactivitieswithEnglish-speakingclassmates.
- Practice,Practice,Practice:TobecomeproficientinEnglish,Iknowthatpracticeisessential.IwillengageinEnglishdialoguewithmyfriendswhoarenativespeakersofEnglishasmuchaspossible.Additionally,IwilluseEnglishMoodleorlanguageexchangeappstopracticeregularly,improvemylisteningandspeakingskills.
- SeekingHelp:IwillseekhelpfromEnglishtutors,classmates,orprofessorsifIfindaparticularareaofEnglishchallengingtocomprehend.IwillalsorequestguidancefromtheschoolEnglishdepartmentandjoinastudygrouptoreceivefeedbackandsupportfrompeers.
Conclusion:It'sexcitingtostartlearningEnglishatahigherlevel,andIameagertoapplythestudyplanandstrategiesthatIhavecreated.Byachievingmyfirst-yearEnglishlearninggoals,IcanlookforwardtoattendingEnglishlanguageprogramsinaforeigncountryinthefuture.
